We had a wonderful 2 years at this restaurant. We went there this evening. And surprise, the restaurant has changed ownership. We were in heaven with the elders. We were disappointed in many points. The welcome was pleasant, we had a very pleasant and friendly waitress. That's not the problem. The menu has changed a lot and our daughter's favorite dish is no longer there at all and that's a shame (dough gratin). We took the burgers as a result, the taste wasn't there and the quantity before that left with the former owners. Our evening was summed up by one word: shame. We are not going back there anymore.
What a cool buffet in the middle of no were. But if you don't visit, it's your own fault, because you're really missing out on something. The food is delicious. We had beef on the charcoal grill. We've never seen this type of grill before, but it's great. The desserts and especially the homemade cakes are highly recommended. We had the tarte du vin and it was truly outstanding. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful in responding to special requests. What more could you want as a guest? We'll definitely be back!
This little farm restaurant is located up in the forested mountains surrounded by Scottish highland cattle and Swiss cows and goats. It seems so faraway from civilization but it is packed with customers. The food is exceptionally great especially with the beef. The burgers are worth a try. The desserts are a must. I was lucky to go in a group and get to sample all the delicious food.
