Les Pieds Sous La Table

We chose this place after reading Tripadvisor reviews. There was a friendly young kitty on one of the picnic tables in front. A good sign. Glad we arrived early before the small restaurant got crowded. Being vegetarians, the menu allows you to choose the ingredients you wish to have on your galette. We liked that. Our veggie galette and shrimp galette were both very tasty. They were slightly small in size but this is not a major complaint. Prices are very reasonable and service was friendly from an English speaking server.

The place is quite small, the staff was friendly explaining the day menu in english. The menu is a very good deal. Salad, galette, crepe and café for only 12 and the quality is great (my colleague ordered that). I had the galette chef it was creamy and the galette was well balanced in thickness and soft and crispy at the edge. Some galette are too thick but this one is just perfect.

We entered into the restaurant at 19 PM in a rainy day having in mind to have a delitious creppe. After 15' waiting for order, the waiter or owner told us the table was only available to have dinner. 4 tables where empty at this moment and no one was wainting for it.

Highly recommended. Good crepes, good cider and good price. We were taken care of by Dalia, who treated us very well and recommended some fantastic dishes. We will return next time we go through Vitré

We reserve a table leaving our phone number but when we arrive the table was given to other persons!! Incredible and the owner didn’t give a shut about it! Do not go there
