Following my fist visit with a group, I booked for lunch with my husband. Again, it was superb. Greeted with Kir and an amuse buche - a sliver of milhassous topped with smoked duck, it was followed by chicken pate and a warm chicken mousse with a sliver of smoked trout. The main course was chicken in a forestiere sauce, sauted potatoes and vegetables. Locally produced cheese followed. The dessert was spectaculat - a little strawberry tart, a choux bun filled with cream and fresh raspberry, and a homemade strawberry ice cream lolly. We both said that it is the best food in the area by a long way. The price of 21Euros is exceptional for such delicious food. I look forward to many more visits w...

Second visit here in 6 months to visit our distant cousins, Marie Fabrice, who own this place. Always the best meal of the whole trip! Forget the restaurants of any nearby town. This is where you want to eat (and buy your wildflower honey)...if traveling through the French countryside looking for the flavor of authentic, home-style French cuisine like my grandma used to cook. Well-worth the reasonable price! Everything is perfectly seasoned cooked- especially the sauces potatoes. Marie Fabrice are delightful hosts, happy to work around food allergies, always seem happy to be doing what they’re doing. Merci, et à la prochaine!

The decor and ambiance was lovely, The meal we had was superb from the apero, then a...timbale of trout with a sorrel sauce. The main was chicken with a crayfish sauce with a potato galette, green beans and carrots. Cheese was followed by a strawberry tart with mint infused ice cream. At last I have found an excellent restaurant just a few kilometres from my home. I will be back for sure. Réservez une table maintenant

Seuls nos amis du Royaume-Uni ont dû nous accompagner à notre restaurant local préféré pendant leur visite. La nourriture et l'ambiance ne nous ont pas déçus, avec un accueil excellent, une qualité, une cuisine et une présentation impeccables. Nos amis ont dit que c'était le meilleur repas qu'ils aient jamais eu en France. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Just had to take our friends from the Uk to our favourite local restaurant whilst they were visiting. The food and ambiance did not disappoint always an excellent welcome, quality, cooking and presentation. Our friends said that it was the best meal that they...had ever had in France. I just can't get enough of this beautiful little auberge and his fabulous eating! I visited juni with my keep fit group for lunch and only yesterday had to book for my man birthday. everything was perfect, eating delicious, welcoming hostess. just don't say too many people as I want to keep it secret! J'ai visité de nombreux restaurants dans ce quartier et celui-ci est de loin le meilleur. Toujours un accueil très chaleureux de la belle couple qui le possède et la nourriture est excellente. Si je travaillais pour Michelin, je lui donnerais volontiers de nombreuses étoiles!
