les wagons is located in the industrial district of storage. the actual cafe/restaurant is located near the main roads and this old uetliberg electric train consists of three main buses, two for seating, dinning and their kitchen, while the other seems to be storage and supply....The cars and the sitting platform are all sitting under a protective brand, so they are always protected from the elements. the staff was super friendly and invited me in. during my visit I had a nice cold drink and chocolate dessert (it was just ok) for about 11chf. her menu consists of warm/cold drinks, soups, salads and other healthy or vegetarian options. they are morning and lunch (except Sundays) and have a sp...
it looked promising when approaching the small car the restaurant is a composition of three antique train cars, which are located in a very urban area. the atmosphere is breathtaking, and no matter whether they are there for lunch or drink in the evening, they will definitely be. enjoy the friendly service and the high-quality menus. the dinner is served every Thursday from 18:30-21:00. a must visit in winterthur.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is also very good but in my opinion much too expensive for what you get. For just under 120.00 for 2 people (without dessert and drinks), the portions are much too small, especially since they mainly serve vegetables (nothing very expensive). Unfortunately, we didn't have enough and weren't asked for it either. So unfortunately only 3 stars from me.
cakes, drinks and the strange foccacia all in two old-fashioned cars. in perfect working condition, this is a jewel of a place, even if they are not a trainbuff. with very good homemade cakes, it keeps children on one. rain day entertaining and lets the adult in the rays of the sun take with a few tables on the platform
