Restaurant well worth a visit. Pizzas are large with lots of ingredients, tastefully combined. Thoroughly enjoyed the fish soup which came with beautifully ccrisp croutons and cheese. Salads were plentiful and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient despite the language barrier! Highly recommend this restaurant.

L'Esperanza is a modest little restaurant-pizzeria, situated in the main street in La Bernerie en Retz, a short walk from the beach. The three course 12:50 euro lunch was really good value for money and service was good. It seemed a popular venue for locals, on this out of season occasion. Well worth a visit

We have visited this restaurant quite a few times as we visit this area on a regular basis. We love it. The staff are really good very welcoming and capable. The food is good and I would recommend the Pizza. Can be very busy in mid season.

We had a 2 night stay in the town during the summer and ate here both evenings. The staff were very welcoming. Obviously family owned and run. The food was super. Very tasty indeed and reasonably priced. I would love to go back !

Visited regularly during our recent break. Over the 2 weeks we tried various items on the menu and enjoyed them all including pizza pastas and steak. Always busy but service efficient
