Very disappointed after many decades of my extended family and I having been loyal customers, we have been treated disrespectfully by the staff. We started a new pool team this season after previously having a team there. The table is basically unusable due to its condition and I had to take my own pool balls! We were promised this would be sorted before the league started, but nothing has been done two months in, we were just fobbed off with excuses! The other teams were complaining about the table. My son chose this restaurant for his birthday meal, and I am glad he did. I was initially unsure about the portion sizes due to the low prices, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were actually quite large. I ordered the steak, ale, and mushroom pie, which took up most of my plate even before adding the chips and peas. We usually skip desserts because they can be expensive, but the portions here were huge. My son had the chocolate fudge cake, which was big enough for two people, and all of the desserts were reasonably priced at just £6.95. this pub really enjoyed, especially for the good moods in the inner. from outside and inside there is nothing that stands out essentially, looks wise. the personal was friendly, however, the owner was really friendly and the habitable dog made it feel rather secret. it was decent pub dug, I enjoyed my steak and ale cake: the owner even weakened us when we were gone. they do not get this in their average city bar pub. note: there are pool and darts area available and sit small children's corner outside as well as a decent amount of parking.
had here a nice Sunday dinner all the employees were beautiful and attentive had a great selection of meat and my daughter asked for a yorkshire with her lamb flour .. that was no problem! large selection of veg and flowers/Brokoli cheese included I was offered extra gravy for our veg .. that I accepted that I was added something surprised the gravur was as extra on the bill! that was not a problem at all, and we didn't hit each other! I had only not expected it was an extra! total .. a beautiful Sunday dinner and I would recommend

I first visited this restaurant with my friends and had such a great experience that I decided to go back with my husband. The service provided by Crystal and Charlotte was very helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. There was also a young boy named Tom who was friendly and added to the pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, as I have been back multiple times and the experience has been consistently great. Thank you to everyone involved!
Sadly, today's experience wasn't so good. Although it's now under new management, our small group didn't get great customer service. The food is still plentiful, but it lacks in gravy. And being tea total, I found the coffee that was served way below standard. Wasn't an enjoyable experience, and because of those sad points, I shall take our custom else where. Lester's should raise the price and improve on the quality because they're letting themselves down now.
I can’t give the food, it’s not the Ritz but the food is great and plenty of it I have been in several times now I don’t normally do reviews food and the atmosphere is constantly good. Very good. In fact I would recommend this to anybody The girls that served me Crystal so helpful, I’m a big man and she found me the perfect seats for me and my family and Charlotte came to help lovely Atmosphere a really nice place to buy. Table of 20 for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was fabulous. The staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. They went over and beyond for our group, and many of the table commented how nice it was. A special thanks to Kyle who has a very professional and approachable demeanour. Well done to all involved in making our evening one to remember.

I had my late mother's wake at Lesters on the 28/02/24. Amazing service and couldn't fault them. Buffet food was delicious and very cheap I would recommend them highly
The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and the staff is very attentive. The pub food is delicious and feels like a home cooked meal. What more could you ask for?
