Friends who live nearby recommended this restaurant when I asked about places serving chasse (wild game which is in season now.) We had lunch there last week.First thing that struck me was hearing the chef telling the waitresses what was and was not available. Clearly he only serves fresh meats etc - nothing frozen and pre-done. Vry nice sign. Second was the warm welcome we had and the nice restaurant - very sunny with a pretty terrace and garden. It wasn't warm enough to eat outside when we were there though. We ordered the Selle de Chevreuil (Saddle of venison) menu at 85frs per person. 4 delicious courses and the venison was really tasty and perfectly cooked. All the traditional garnishes...

We have been 3 times to this restaurant, which consists of both a bar-café and a formal restaurant. It offers typically Swiss cuisine, with game in season and a good selection of Swiss (and some foreign) wines. In summer there are outdoor tables. The restaurant...is not in Aigle (where Tripadvisor places it) but opposite the Noville Post Office 11 km from Aigle and less than 2 km from the Rennaz shopping centers and 3 km from Villeneuve. Two can eat dinner for well under CHF 100 including wine. The Swiss stand-bys of lake trout and sliced veal are always on the menu. We've been to more famous and more expensive restaurants in the region, mostly for lunch (when the menus are cheaper). But thi...

The weather was great and we had the privilege to dine outside under the greens of decennia old trees. Like the scenery the food was excellent, original and more than tasty. The waitress very friendly and helping in choosing the right Swiss wines. The dishes were all presented very originally. We choose one of the menu's and were not disappointed about the quantities. We could even interchange dishes from different menu. The place and food is really worthwhile to go away from the normal tourist traps in Vevey, Montreux. The lady owner was very kind and genuine interested in our wel feeling.

We were taken to the restaurant with friends who's family had frequented the restaurant for many many years. The perch and fires were prepared perfectly. The salad lovely and fresh, and the coffee desert with ice cream, special! We recommend highly, and will return. I...understand in Sept to November the game dishes are exceptional. The service very good, and chef and staff greeted all persons leaving at the end of our lunch. Very friendly! Réservez une table maintenant

We had dinner in the internal terrace. It is very nice and romantic place. The dishes are nicely served and the personnel are very kind and available. Price in the standard especially if you chose a menu. There are, indeed, many menu available where you can have a very good dinner. Highly recommended!

Started dining here when we lived in the village and have kept coming back several times per year after that. The food is delicious, even though it takes a while to be served, and the wait-staff are friendly. The owner speaks English if your French fails you.
