I was somewhat hesitant to visit this restaurant because I recall Lighthouse Tofu being quite overrated, particularly when it comes to their soondooboo. Years ago, another soondooboo place opened that was incredible, as they made their tofu in-house; unfortunately, it didn't stick around for long, which was disappointing. However, we decided to give this place another shot, despite my reservations. We were seated promptly, and I must say, our server was excellent. Here’s what we ordered: - **Kimchi Beef Soondooboo** at medium spice: This came out bubbling hot, which was a plus. There was plenty of tofu, but the texture varied significantly; some pieces were soft while others were firmer. I...

This restaurant reminds me a lot of home in the San Gabriel Valley. While it may not be the best tofu house I've ever visited, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff make it a very welcoming spot, and I haven't found a better place for tofu soup. The seafood pancake was soft and enjoyable, though I felt it could use a better balance of seafood to batter. As for the tofu soup, I opted for medium spice, which was just a tad tingly, but I wish it had a bit more heat. The sides were generous, and the barley tea was served nice and hot, although I noticed it came in a plastic cup, which isn't ideal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our teacups were never empty. The menu i...

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! This place was amazing!! My first experience at an authentic Korean Soup place and I cannot wait to go back! We went on a cold rainy day and it was perfect to sip on delicious spicy tofu soup! They give a ton of side dishes that are refilled which complimented the meal perfectly! These people are very efficient and bring your food out super quickly! My favorite thing was the fresh raw egg they serve which you crack directly into the soup that is served boiling! It cooks the egg nicely and is so yummy! I had the vegetarian mushroom soup which was delicious! For it being veggie, i was surprised at the amount of flavor it had! This place was very spacious and...

This restaurant was a total letdown and a waste of $50. The only redeeming quality was the ambiance, which was cool and cultural. The service was just average, with servers appearing uninterested and slow to attend to customers. As for the food, it was bland and disappointing, completely missing the vibrant flavors typical of Korean cuisine. The bibimbap was soggy and lacking in taste, while the kimchi tasted like it came from a store and lacked freshness. Although the portion sizes were quite generous, the poor quality of the food made that irrelevant. To top it off, the prices were unreasonable. Overall, I would advise staying away from this place. Phenomenal tofu soup! Spacious and clean restaurant. It was busy on Saturday but no wait for a table. The menu is short and simple. The kimchi is tasty and not overpowering. We got oyster and mushroom tofu soup, seafood pancake, and otopus noodle. Even with plain soup, the tofu pot was very flavorful. My friend was a bit disappointed at the mushroom soup since it only had one type of mushrooms. I didn't like the otopus dish's flavor, it feels flat despite being spicy. Just a

The place is so small. The tables were so close to each other. We had Tofu soup, it was okay, but the soup bowl and soup container looked dirty to me. I had a combination of seafood. Tofu soup, which contains one shrimp, 2 thin slices of beef, and 5 clams and full of mashed Tofu and a bowl of rice. After I ate the soup, I had a stomach ache. Go figure!

This place is amazing!! Nothing better on a cold winter day! The spicy level soup isnt too spicy, just a stronger kim chi flavor, which isnt spicy IMO. But delicious! We also ordered a mild soup so our son would eat it, the veggie pancake and bulgogi. Everything is always delicious here!

Had a fantastic meal here with friends. The service is great and the food is delicious. The Chayote is all I can think about now. They accommodated my sesame allergy, which I am so thankful for. Truly an amazing restaurant to stop by and check out! You won?t be disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant

Took away from the crowds, this is one of those places that you have to know about beforehand. They have the best kimchi that I have tried at a restaurant, the soups are amazing, and the bibambap was very unique. I will be coming back.
