Yes, I'm aware that it's under new ownership and, with that, things change. But people seriously need to relax. I find the food choices for lunch have expanded very nicely since the new ownership took over. While it's always been delicious and fresh, selection was pretty limited before. I'm loving the wider selection now and I think it's great the store is adding things like breakfast and happy hour. Why not make the most of a good thing! Yes, the prices of groceries are expensive but I personally don't do my big grocery haul here. I buy quality meats, cheeses, pastas and produce when needed, or for special occasions. We frequented - yes, that is, previously visited often for treats and typical groceries that aren't found in regular supermarkets. The prices seem to be an issue (always have been) but now, under new ownership we do not seem to feel the same shopping here. I would go here for specific items but not a sit-down meal unless they bring a new life to the lunch menu. Pastries are definitely yummy and can't find elsewhere but if you spend a lot of money here you are over doing it.

I've been coming here for years, it is one of the best places in the city for olives - they've always got a fresh supply and they're sooo tasty. Their fresh breads, patisserie and deli are great!

This is a fun Italian market with good lunch options. It's on the pricey side for lunch. The cappuccinos are delicious. I particularly like the deli.

They have a lot of stuff in there, you can probably find what you want. It's a bit expensive but the deserts are wonderful.
