The steak at the restaurant was good, but my wife enjoyed hers more than I did. Mine was a bit tough in one spot and undercooked in another due to its size. The hashbrowns were just smashed potatoes and not very special. My sons had an expensive grilled cheese sandwich and chips. The soda was flat, which seems to be a common issue in the area. The noise level inside was loud, even after a large party left. Dessert options were cheesecake or chocolate cake, nothing exceptional. First introduced in 1964 while managing the space needle at the state fair. Came from the space needle in Wisconsin dells (summer job). Went back to school in the fall at UW. Went to work for Square D co. As a field engineer at several locations until transferred to MPLS. While there job entailed much customer entertainment. Favorite spot to go was Lindy's. Went back numerous times with customers and friends. Every time was worthy of a fantastic review. Last time there was 2022 while attending a funeral. Today we came for a birthday lunch but were disappointed with our experience. The bread was not ready and arrived late, the plate was not sizzling as usual, and the potatoes were overcooked and flattened. The steak, supposed to be medium plus, was rare in the middle. Our new waitress offered to box up our leftovers but never asked if we wanted anything else or offered new potatoes. Overall, it was the first time we did not enjoy ourselves at this restaurant and it may be a while before we return.

We came all the way from Kingman,AZ for vacation and have always got the gizzards and they were always so YUMMY.
