We decided to have a family Christmas meal at the Lion Snake (L S) and booked online. No issue at all and ordered online. Arrived and found our table at the rear of the restaurant setup for the 5 of us. Met by lovely staff and even though the pub was hellish busy in the bar there was no issue that affected the efficiency or delivery of our food. The food was all freshly prepared and piping hot. Not one of us could say a bad word about our meal. All in all a great experience and lovely food. 5
What a topping place recommended to me by another local patron. The place was full of festive cheer, the music was just at the right level so you could still talk without having to raise voices. We tried some great cocktails that were very reasonably priced. We also had a few nibbles to soak the amazing gin up. Will definitely recommend this place to my colleagues and friends as I had a wonderful night.
We were a large group for the festive menu. Rebecca met us and was great along with all the other staff who waited the tables and brought our drink orders from the bar. The food was great, piping hot delicious. My personal favourite was the St Clements Tart. Everyone was served food in a timely manner. Well done to all the staff. I would certainly recommend
Great function room for 40. Excellent hands on manager with good staff made birthday party a very enjoyable experience. Never seen such a get stuck in manager helping us and staff. Unfortunately, due to the company I arrived with...the night was a downer. Thankfully, the staff were very welcoming and it removed the emphasis from my sow faced drinking collegue who generally brought the night down. I would highly recommend....but not with mardy party members!
Today, Rebekah provided excellent service at the restaurant. The food was delicious and served hot. The service was fast and friendly. The pub was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. There was a great variety of drinks available at reasonable prices.
I had the best time at the lion and snake the stuff were friendly the atmosphere was top class and i had a really good yom. Will be recommending to my friends in the future. NOT THE LAST TIME I TO HERE!
I visited The Snake and Lion on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The atmosphere was great and it's a fantastic place to grab a drink. It's definitely a good spot to visit up the hill. Réservez une table maintenant
