We visited this restaurant last summer and enjoyed an excellent 'menu du jour' on the delightful terrace situated within the historic cloisters and decided that it was a restaurant worthy of a return; we were particularly impressed that an interesting vegetarian option for one of our party was no problem at all. We revisited for lunch in May 2016, weather was not so good so we ate in the spacious and well appointed interior. Great value menu again, good quality food and good service although we were disappointed that this time little effort was made to accommodate our vegetarian diner and only salad was offered as a vegetarian option. The first impression was good with a nice setting next to a cloister and an appetising menu Italian menu with a Gascony twist. The starter and sweet white wine to accompany the dish were delicious but we were not given any plates to eat in. Just napkins and bread. Then we waited 1 hour for our main course. After asking what time we should expect our main course, the bar waiter said he had misinformed his colleagues who thought we had been served. Finally dinner arrived but had been cooked in a hurry. Meat was burned outside and rare in middle. The Other dish was very oily. The food was average and roughly served on a chopping board. Got compensated for the wait with some free wine.
Living locally we have visited this restaurant around eight or so times since it opened a couple of years back. It used to be a cool location with an interesting menu and excellent service.Our last two visits - and we won't be going back again - showed just how much it has gone downhill. The menu has shrunk and is now very basic and the staff are nowhere near as efficient - everyone around had a long wait for each course.Basically all it is now is expensive but average food badly served in a cool location. Nowhere near enough positives.
L'ambiance était agréable, et je pense que c'est la seule chose agréable à propos de cet endroit. En revanche, la nourriture était extrêmement décevante. Le choix de pâtes est limité à seulement 4 plats, dont 3 sont à base de crème. J'ai donc choisi les penne all'arrabiata et c'était une pure déception, la sauce n'avait absolument rien à voir avec le plat, juste une vieille sauce tomate que n'importe qui pourrait faire soi-même. Je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant.

Endroit charmant et je suis un habitué depuis des années. Hier soir, nous avons emmené des amis du Royaume-Uni et le personnel d'attente nous a ignorés même après avoir demandé les menus! Nous avons finalement commandé après une heure et on nous a dit qu'il ne restait plus de pâte à pizza, juste assez pour 3 !!! Il y avait 3 enfants et 3 adultes. Plus tard, nous avons vu une grande table de locaux (25) tous servis - pizzas!
Nous sommes venus ici 5 fois maintenant et à chaque fois a été formidable. J'adore les espaces extérieurs, la cuisine au-dessus des braises et les merveilleuses brumisations. Les Cloîtres sont si beaux, j'adore vivre ici, ça me donne l'impression d'être en vacances dehors. L'intérieur est aussi intéressant. J'adore ça...
First thing i must say is great service, always wins thumbs up and this place wins a thumbs up. Felt that we wee valued customers on our first visit, lovely setting sat outside overlooking parts of the old monastery.Food very good, prices also very good. Ambience great. Would i go back. Most defiantly.
Chose the lunch menu, linguini with geziers a local twist on Italian food. Was delicious. Dessert of chocolate mousse very fast too. The atmosphere is busy and quite loud. The terrace outside is fab in the summer. The service was friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful restaurant in a converted monastery. The food lived up to the ambiance.lunchtime menu excellent value and of a high quality. Staff warm and friendly. Nothing to dislike.
