Quinoa and pine nuts I use myself at home, these ingredients are not very inexpensive. The pizza was covered with buffalo mozarella, no cheaper gouda or cow's milk mozarella. The small Italy is located in the heart of Bamberg. It has a small outdoor terrace and a very nice interior. Outside you sit very quiet and pleasant. The family-run Ristorante, as I suspect, is characterized by a kindness that unfortunately is rarely found. The food map that can be overlooked happily indicates that what is found there must be good. And so it was. Oh, I could have tasted one of the oval pizzas, but we already had pizza in Aposto (very delicious). As a Bamberger and not just a visitor in Little Italy, it must be honestly said that the usual price/performance ratio leaves more and more to be desired. If you reserve a table in the early evening, you will be asked to clear the table after a certain time, so that more clientele can be hosted. Little italy is one of the new restaurants in Bamberg. The concept should be based on a typical Italian restaurant from the USA. This has certainly been achieved in the interior, but the food is not particularly staggered. What I mean now: the pizza could come 1 to 1 also from the Salino in Bamberg, I don't taste a difference. This speaks for quality, but for that you pay 2 to 3 € in Little italy. What is that supposed to be justified?! Very nice, nicely furnished restaurant with tables inside and outside in the big old town of Bamberg. At a stop on the way to Italy we ate here - the food was just great for a restaurant of this price class and ready to the point: it tasted very good! From the small but fine card we had ordered crostini, freshly made tagliatelle with quinces and a fantastic bread salad. As dessert two large pieces Tiramisu with espresso, with water, a glass of wine and a cellar beer. 50 euros for a super food and beautiful, very friendly service we found completely ok. Very recommended!
We were here for Mother's Day. Since I had already informed myself about the menu on the Internet, we ordered the crostinis and then the flank steak. My son ate pizza. We were so tired and it was just delicious. The service was very friendly and fast, the food was beautifully arranged. We were very satisfied and planned to eat again.

For family visits 2018/2019 dinner in Little Italy. Very friendly service, beautiful authentic ambience. The dishes, risotto with seafood and grilled Octopus with vegetables and potatoes were good.
