we have just spent a week in this pub. room and bathroom very spacious with so much storage room. we ate every evening in the restaurant, eating was fantastic as the breakfast. the staff was very friendly, like the couple that it operates. I would have given stars, but for a few things the shower zone in the room needs some attention and it was located on a very busy road. this said weeks were quieter and it made it easy to travel in different directions. a pleasant stay.
they managed to find us a table on Saturday night, space was empty when we arrived and packed at the time we left. good pint, appetizers (gar mushrooms and garnel with lemon) were good quality and also a reasonable size. Between us we had a curry and a chili, both served with rice and chips and a naan bread and we need a two miles to foot to get over it, talk about generous portions and good quality!
We went today for a Sunday lunch, we both had the beef, I asked for just yourkshire pudding and roast, as I don't eat veg or boiled poatoes, the lunch had no flavour, our beef was chewy and rubbery, them they charged me extra 2 pounds for a extra Yorkshire pudding and roast, that i didn't ask for. I did say about it but they said I asked for it. Gravy was like water. The cup of tea was nice
We all had a meal there. My husband had a steak couldn’t eat it it was full of gristle shocking for £20.00 When we went to pay they knocked £5 off which was atrocious The temper on the manager was absolutely shocking will never call there again. Réservez une table maintenant
Lovely place! Stayed for the weekend as we were at a wedding just a few minutes away. Excellent breakfasts the beds were super comfy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it!
We had a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely come back again. We were on vacation in Wales and wanted a local place to eat. The outdoor seating area was also nice.
This charming pub offers delicious food and is very dog-friendly. The interior and exterior spaces are both inviting, and the pool table and beer garden are great additions.
Very friendly welcome to us and our dog Norman. Very reasonable price for bar food. Nice simple decor and warm fire on. Lovely young lady looked after us. Would recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
Had a steak.All looked very nice,not the best.Tough and grisly.My wife said her curry was nice.Staff very pleasant.Would use again,will go for fish or curry next time.
