We started with the spring rolls, which were fried to perfection and not too greasy. They had a generous filling and were absolutely delicious. Next, we tried the scallion pancakes. They were slightly thinner than we prefer, but the flavor more than made up for it. The highlight of our dim sum experience was undoubtedly the pork soup dumplings. The broth inside was silky and packed with flavor! They are on the smaller side, so if that’s all we were planning to have, I would have ordered two sets.

I had one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We waited over an hour for our food after placing a sit-down order. The fact that there was only one other occupied table at 12:30 in the afternoon should have been a clear sign that the locals avoid this place. They brought out one dish every 15 minutes, taking a full hour to serve all four of our orders (and my youngest daughter was just eating dumplings from our shared plate). The soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork buns are great. I would expect that the other appetizers are pretty solid too. The yang zhou fried rice is alright too. The stir fried pork dish was lacking in pork and did not have the traditional sweet and spicy taste I was looking for. It also looked nothing like the picture in terms of ingredients used and quantity. My recommendation would be to stick to the soup dumplings and maybe the other apps. I do think the soup dumplings here are fantastic. They have thin but firm skin, lots of broth, and juicy meat. The shepherd's purse dumplings were enjoyable, but the Chongqing spicy chicken was disappointing. It seemed like pre-made General Tso's chicken with just a few mild chilies, onions, and peppers added on top. It lacked spiciness, was chewy and dry, and tasted like General Tso's chicken without any sauce. For the price, it was quite unsatisfactory.
Xiao long bao is very good. The soup noodles were alright, not salty. The fried noodles with chicken was ok but too much soy sauce and salt. We also ordered steamed Shanghai bok choy that was almost forgotten until the end of the meal. Overall, decent lunch.
