it must be said when you see a very long line of poeple waiting to buy there fish lunch then it tells you that this represents quality and great value,when we ordered our lunch we were given a ticket and told to take a seat and they will bring the food to us ,it was superb and very filling well worth the money and you could smell and taste the freshness ,well to all who work there keep up the good work .HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

During our trip to Oban, we stopped by the Green Shack for a meal. Over several days, I tried their fresh mussels, prawns, salmon sandwiches, and their famous prawn sandwich. The seafood they served was the freshest and best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of seafood. If you find yourself in Oban, make sure to treat yourself to this delicious local seafood. Just a heads up, they only accept cash payments.

My first ever oyster and it was delicious only cost 95 pence and I followed this up by purchasing cooked scallops in garlic with sauce dip and lettuce . It was superb there were 5 enormous scallops cooked to perfection and only cost 9.95 I would recommend visiting and sampling their fresh products when they reopen in the spring. Been once. Wouldn’t bother again. Crab sandwich had cartilage in it and very limp lettuce. Experience made worse by seagulls rummaging through the bins which didn’t have lids on. Réservez une table maintenant

The food and service were excellent at this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh seafood, which was cooked to perfection. The variety of menu options was also impressive.

Can't get any fresher than this, and delicious too. Highly recommended if you can stand the cold and wind.
