I had to give this place a 1-star rating across the board because I wasn't allowed to eat inside with my dog. While I understand that the restaurant has its policies, I believe the attached pub could have designated a table or two for dog-friendly dining. I left feeling very disappointed and ended up walking to the Ardshiel Hotel, where I was warmly welcomed with my dog. They also had fantastic food! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
great cozy authentic pub! I can absolutely recommend the haggis nachos dude, those were delicious! they were the best afteros I ever had. I have to try them! in addition, good service and an actual coal fire in the fire place that warms its back. it is a place to go to campbeltown!

I received very friendly and professional assistance from the bartender. I ordered some food and was warned that the portions were large, but they weren't as big as I expected. He forgot to mention that the food was excellent—well done! Réservez une table maintenant
Great little pub attached to the Royal Hotel. Good food and staff are courteous and very friendly. Don't get Brian started on the theory of relativity though. Wish there was some real ales and IPAs
This classic pub is bustling throughout the day, filled with regular patrons who can often be seen leaning against the bar or standing outside with their cigarettes.
Charming little pub with a diverse menu featuring generous and delicious dishes. There's a great selection of drinks at the entrance, and the service is friendly.
Nice and friendly. Standard beers and... Haggis Nachos! Well worth a try, even if you haven’t had haggis before. Gets a bit busy most nights, so get in early. Réservez une table maintenant
