Ok....this place looks rough from the outside (just being honest... and as such, has never been anywhere on my list of places to try. By chance, we found ourselves in their parking lot, and hungry, so we gave the a shot. The interior is a pleasant improvent from the outside. Warm, cozy, and comfortable. Had the eggs, biscuits and gravy. It was very good, yet not quite to that 'special and unique ' level that makes you crave going there. I will be back, for sure, though. My only tiny complaint was that serving was kind of slow. Had we not had a limited amount of time before an upcoming obligation, it wouldnt have bothered me. Great place that will bet my repeat business.
A step back in time. Unfortunately the outside doesn't match the coolness of stepping back in time 60 years when Highway 40 was the route. A cabin feel restaurant with hearty portions and low prices. Third generation family owned. Fruendly, polite young staff. A relaxed fun place. We will be back. 10/11/20 We came here today and sat in their new patio.....very cute and comfortable. We also sampled their new hot chocolate complete with drizzled chocolate and a toasted marshmallow. Delicious!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly, and my order was spot on. The prices are just right, especially for a cozy little spot like this. My only issue was that when the waitress brought coffee for my boyfriend and me, both mugs had lipstick stains on them. We mentioned it to her, and she promptly replaced them with clean mugs. We came for breakfast, and we’ll definitely be back soon!
If we had actually received the strawberry waffle, which costs an additional $4, my review would have been much more favorable. Instead, we got two burnt homemade waffles with frozen mashed strawberries on the side. In any case, it's not what was advertised.

Lunch in the neighborhood. What a Cute, cozy little quaint mountain lodge. Highest recommendations. Bacon Cheeseburger with fries Coke. Amazing! Quality Food....great price. We will cone back for Sunday a Breakfast. Great Service
The Reuben sandwich was absolutely fantastic! I'm not kidding. I really enjoyed the steak fries—they were piping hot and freshly made. I will definitely be ordering this for lunch again. It was incredibly delicious!
The staff at the Lodge are truly wonderful. A special shoutout to Karen and Leslie for their exceptional friendliness to everyone. If you visit the Lodge, you'll understand what I mean!
We absolutely love everything we've ever ordered! The Denver was the best I've ever tasted. The Country Benedict is fantastic, and the gravy is delicious!

Delicious homemade food! The staff is incredibly friendly! This local restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic it is!
