Lokkanta Meze Barbeque

Came here with my partner for a saturday night meal out. The restaurant itself isn't very big, and I'm glad we booked in advance. I'll admit that I was a bit unsure going in as it didn't look like there was any room at all, but there are several tables at back of the place. They had reserved us a table in the back corner which was very cosy and quiet. I haven't had Turkish food for a while, but I know that the food was FANTASTIC. Best service, best team. we had been in london for 4 days. After eating different foods we wanted soup to eat.After searching restaurants we noticed lokkanta near our hotel. we ordered soup of the day. But team serve us not only delicious and fresh soup, but also free three kinds of meze, hot and new turkish breads. I want to thanks them for this kind jesting

Service was absolutely fantastic, the staff were super polite and the food was pretty much flawless! I went for the Babaganoush starter and the special grill main, everything tasted so fresh and full of flavour it was perfection. If I’m ever back in the area I would 100% return and would recommend it to anyone.

Although it was enjoyable experience sitting in sun in Westbourne Grove and was reasonable Turkish food and sampled Turkish coffee for first time you have to suffer all the people going in and out for take-aways as the restaurant seems to double as takeaway AND sit-in restaurant. We got into London fairly late on Christmas Eve and found no room at any conventional inn. Fortunately we found Lokkanta and we weren’t disappointed at all great food, good service and a lovely atmosphere.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the portions are delicious and generous. We have both dined in and gotten takeout from here. I highly recommend this place!

Incredibly friendly service. Food was excellent. We ordered the platter for 3-4 people and certainly was enough for the four of us. Food came nice and quick and was of a high quality.

Highlight was the complimentary bread and wonderfully spicy salsa. Enjoyed our Adana kebabs and Baklava. Staff were really nice making us feel welcome.
