He acknowledged that there had been a mix-up with our orders, confusing the name Angie for Amy. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish: as soon as we walked in, we received excellent assistance with our menu choices, enjoyed plenty of laughs thanks to the owner's jokes, and appreciated the friendly cashiers who happily made last-minute changes to our order. My favorite Italian restaurant in Gardena. Ever since the one in Brea closed, I've been making the trip to Gardena whenever I crave Italian food. The portions here are generous, and there are plenty of pasta combinations to choose from. Compared to Buca, this place is far superior. While the decor might be a bit outdated, I actually enjoy it as it adds to the ambiance. Their house wine pairs well with the meals, and above all, the staff is fantastic—friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for excellent Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. It's located in a small plaza next to Ralph's, so there's plenty of parking!
A friend took me to Lomeli's a few weeks ago to celebrate a medical milestone. She's been a loyal customer for 15 years and couldn’t wait to introduce me to the restaurant. I ordered the pizza, and it was incredible—full of nostalgia, bringing back memories of the pizza I loved during my teenage years. Came here for the first time last week. The inside is very small and dark lighting. The inside looks outdated and worn. However, the service was great. We were seated right away and our server was very welcoming and willing to answer any questions we had. We ordered the chicken parm, shrimp ravioli, and spaghetti and meatball. Everything was enjoyed and devoured. Italian food isn't my favorite but we enjoyed our meal at Lomeli's.
I don't want to give the wrong impression; it's not a bad restaurant, and I visit every now and then. However, I think it's more due to habit and convenience than anything else. The food is decent, but not outstanding. The service is generally quite good, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. It's just an average Italian restaurant with a rich history and reasonable prices.

We had an amazing experience! Our waitress was exceptional and full of positive energy. The food was excellent— even better than Olive Garden! I highly recommend this restaurant!
