This place used to be a bit better, but it’s been a bit off even compared to earlier this year. The food is still good for the most part, with both chicken and steak being done right. There was a sweet potato that was rather overcooked, which you’d think would be hard to do. Service wasn’t that good. It’s not great when you don’t get any silverware for 10 minutes after you’ve sat down, not including the 5 before the server showed up. This doesn’t include the dirty fork sitting under the table. Saw a couple of people having to correct orders around us too. Thank god we had a gift card because whoever was cooking Saturday didn't know what they were doing. I cook steaks better than that at home. No seasoning, and I ordered mine medium‐rare and it came out medium, while my wife ordered hers well done and it came out medium-rare. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Steakhouse. I wouldn't have paid $20 for that meal. The lobster tail was raw, we were party to the whole seating plan of the restaurant being shouted between 2 staff members behind us. It was just an overall bad experience.
I celebrated my anniversary with my wife, and since we had a gift card from a friend, we decided to try this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fingers, steak, and steak fries. The house salads were generous and featured nice, crispy lettuce. The bread served was wonderful too. I appreciate how different restaurants offer various types of bread, which adds a unique touch to the dining experience.
Went on a Tuesday night, it is was really busy, so I sat at the bar, the service was not great, bar tender seem to be covering a large area, had to ask twice for bread and A1, steak was under cooked, not the best experience I've had at Longhorn. But the Old Fashioned was good

They got 18 of us (unannounced) seated quite quickly. We didn't sit all together but they really tried to get us close. Great job. Waitresses were wonderful, attentive, and conversation was nice. overall, just great! Food was delish, as always. Great job everyone.
LongHorn is my go-to steakhouse, and the Vandalia location does not disappoint. The steaks are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and expertly cooked, complemented by an excellent staff. Additionally, their raspberry lemonade is the best I've ever tasted!
Excellent meal tonight. Salmon cooked perfectly. Salad very fresh. Wild fire shrimp....mmmm yummy. Server was Jose and was extremely attentive. Always have good meals here but tonight was exceptional!!!
Our server, Teia, was truly exceptional. I've dined at many restaurants, but she exceeded all expectations for customer service. I’m really thankful that we had her taking care of our table tonight.

Steak was really good and cooked perfect. Mushrooms were also really good. Mashed potatoes were a little cool to the point that butter wouldn’t melt. All and all it was good.
This is the best Longhorn around. The service is excellent. I had the best ribeye! The wildwest shrimp is awesome. But the staff is amazing. Well done!
