Longhorn Steakhouse Johnson City

There were almost more employees than diners at this location! At least it seemed that way. We were seated near the front door which was where the host station and the kitchen were. We were a group of 4 at a table for 6. We had plenty of room for all of the trays and plates and glasses and things that accumulated on the table. If we'd had 6 people it would not have been enough space. Our server was very good, she was fairly busy but checked on us often. The starter bread was good. Our salads and entrees were good as well. My parents-in-law shared a steak and each got a potato. I got the salmon and it was very good. My husband got the NY strip and enjoyed it. I would come back again if driving through Johnson City.

We ate here for lunch today(2-5-2023) to stall time before a caving adventure and both of us watched the entire staff bust their butts working, every minute we were there! We have both had a bad experience at another Longhorn location but we're highly impressed with this experience today! I reached out to the M.O.D. and told her I just hoped the staff got the recognition they truly deserved! The food was wonderful and cooked to perfection the way we ordered! Also, even if your full to capacity and feel like you can't eat a single bite more, make it worth your while and give the Strawberry shortcake a try! It was a nice finish to our wonderful lunch!

Nice atmosphere. Nice decor. The chicken-nite remover is absolutely delicious. Perfectly made, light spices, great taste. Meals were very delicious. The potatoes were delicious. The drinks were good. The prices were reasonable. Our server had a free day, but unlike that, would highly recommend.

I want to start off by saying that this would be probably a five-star rating if the hostess was better. She never acknowledged us one bit. The server was good and the waiter was amazing. They food was really good.

The food was great! I definitely recommend getting the “Texas Tonion” and the “LH” burger with raspberry limonade. This is one of the few places that are still good.
