My wife and I ordered a bruschetta, Chicken Amaretto, and the Filet Mignon. Drinks were a Newman’s sour and Irie Mon. Nothing less than 5/5 on everything we had. The steak melted like butter and the chicken was perfect. Drinks were easy going down as well. Would never have thought this place had food like it does but was a great surprise. Thanks loose tie, for giving us a perfect date night. We’ll be back, highly recommended!
My wife and I went last night and had the Valentine special. 3 courses for $50 including drink and gratuity. What an amazing deal! I always thought of The Loose Tie as a bar not a restaurant. But after the experience last night I was enlightened. It was the best dish I’ve have in this city and the service was top notch. You really need to check it out. It’s sooooo good.
Had my Birthday party in the private room. They set it up as a small cocktail lounge and it was fantastic. Excellent space to mingle and have drinks and apps. Service was amazing, very attentive and quick. Food and drinks were delicious. All the attendees have been saying what a great space it was and what a great time they had. Would recommend
We absolutely loved it at Loose tie tonight. It was our 10th anniversary, so we stole away for a quick weeknight dinner and drink. Our waitress was awesome. The food was perfectly cooked and worth every penny. Drinks were delicious too! We had an amazing experience and will be back! Réservez une table maintenant
Was downtown celebrating Canada Day and hoping from pub to pub when we accidentally found this place. What a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely amazing. The tiki drinks were really really cool. The service was outstanding! We will definitely be back again!!!
My 12 friends and I spent New Years Eve at loose tie. It was well priced, planned and the staff was incredibly friendly. My only complaint would be that it is not wheel chair accessible (but not many places DT St. John’s are), but the staff was very accommodating.
Had my 40th in the private room. Food was amazing as was the staff. Went back a few weeks later and had an anniversary dinner. We both loved it. Great for casual small plate eats but also offer some lovely entrees. One of the better places to eat on George st.
Friday night impromptu pint at Greensleeves led us upstairs for non-pub grub and it was amazing! Delicious dishes, great cocktails, great service and lovely decor and vibe. Reminded me of a chic London bar-we will be back! Réservez une table maintenant
The goat cheese pastry is sooooo good! Amazing food, atmosphere was very cool, and the service was perfect. Can’t beat the prices either. Mixology was top notch, loved the “Fer Me Ma”. Will defiantly be back :
