L'optimist - Réserver une table

Selected the menu of the day at Euro 30.80 plus a carafe of white wine. Very prompt attention to get you to order and the wine arrived quite quickly followed by the starter goose liver in a reasonable time. 45 minutes later the main course 1/2 Lobster had not arrived although nearby tables had received their main courses, despite ordering after we had our starter. Walked out, gave the waitress Euro 20 for what we had consumed and will never go there again. It seems the French got served but we Brits were just ignored. Not a great start to our return to Brittany.

We went for a drink at L’optimist at the harbor after a day of sailing. The location is right by the marina the weather was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed our drinks and talked about the day. Unfortunately we were sitting with all the smokers. The service was prompt and friendly.

The meal was very good and with a good variety of seafood dishes. Pizzas were available for the vegetarain choice. There was a real 'buzz ' about the restaurant. The sea views were great and we had a memorable meal. The service was good. Very good value for money.
