The service at this restaurant was fast and courteous. The bartender, a friendly and skilled young lady, provided excellent service. I also had a pleasant conversation with the manager, a kind Irish man named John, who has been working there for two years. It had been six years since my last visit, but the relaxed atmosphere remained unchanged. I can only speak for the afternoons as I have not visited in the evening. This restaurant is not on the tourist path, so it attracts more local customers. And by the way, the fries are delicious!
This pub is a hidden treasure. It features a charming carpet, classic bench seating, and a stunning exterior. The pub boasts a cozy fireplace in the winter, making it a popular spot for visitors. However, the prices have skyrocketed recently. The cost of cask ale has increased by 20% in just one year, with trendy lagers priced even higher. While we used to enjoy having 3-4 pints here, we now only have 1-2, if any at all, due to the steep prices. Many locals from the nearby estate no longer visit the pub as they can no longer afford it.
Visited here recently with a group of friends. from the moment we stepped inside we were made to feel so welcomed. Mags was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The pints were lovely and poured to perfection. we didn't eat but any food that did come out looked amazing so we will be back to try some in the future. Can't recommend this place enough. 5
What an amazing pub. Walked by a few times and annoyingly was ALWAYS busy! This time my friends and I got there early. Perched ourselves outside soaked up the sun and drank our heart out. Great service from all the staff, great banter!! Now I have inside jokes with them! Highly recommended to everyone.

Lovely friendly pub on the south bank of London. We had a Sunday afternoon sit in the sun with a beer and glass of wine. Lovely staff, nice traditional pub. Food looked good (we didn’t eat there) but saw others with there meals. Would definitely visit again if in the area.
I recently visited London for the third time and decided to try English cuisine for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and drinks at this restaurant.
What an exemplary English pub. Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had a wonderful evening with great drinks and service !!!! We will be back !!!
Top spot for watching sports. Showed both the rugby and football. Good atmosphere. Good range of beers on tap, hazy Jane is a favourite of mine.
