We were saddened to learn that this restaurant will be closing its doors for good on Wednesday. It’s rumored that a bus company has purchased the property, planning to demolish it along with a nearby car wash to create a parking lot. Our waitress, who seemed a bit bitter, had not been informed of the sale by the owners—she had heard the news from customers instead. The food was enjoyable, although our appetizer was served lukewarm. The veal dish was flavorful, but the meat was quite tough. We stopped in for dinner on our way to Florida from Connecticut. The waitstaff was very attentive, and the drinks were delicious. The food was tasty as well. The kids ordered pizza, which was reminiscent of the New Haven style we’re familiar with.

This restaurant will be closing on September 29, 2021, as the building has been sold. The service and food have consistently been the same as during my last two visits. They had a nice run.

The food, drinks, and service were excellent as always. You will never be disappointed at Lorenzo's.
