We've been visiting Los Mesicanos for years, starting from their original location on St. Pete Beach. Their food is authentically Mexican, which might not satisfy those looking for Tex-Mex or California-style dishes. We make a trip from St. Pete just to dine there, even though there’s a closer Los Mexicanos on Ulmerton Street. We tried that location but found both the food and service lacking, and it didn’t feel genuine. They also had a DJ playing reggaeton music. The other location further north isn't great either. It seems like the Indian Rocks Beach location is the only one that truly represents the original Los Mesicanos. The drive is definitely worth it!
Excellent TexMex across from the beach on IRB. Festive environment. Good food quality. The enchiladas has a great tortilla outside and quality beef inside with a flavorful red sauce. The stuffed poblano was very flavorful. Rice and beans were standard affair as was the crispy taco and tostada. The real Mexican cheese on the taco was appreciated. Great place for good quality Tex Mex. The service was also excellent.
Delicious Mexican cuisine! This restaurant is well-known for its generous portions of authentic Mexican classics and their amazing 2-for-1 margaritas. The prices are quite reasonable, and it's conveniently located right across from the beach. They also offer outdoor seating. We walked in 15 minutes before closing time, and I felt bad but the staff was extremely kind and wasn’t pushy for us to leave. The food is delicious and priced very fairly. All around great place with great food, staff and cozy ambiance. Probably won’t be returning here because it’s so far of a drive, but will go to the one close to the Feathersound area.

Gave it 4 stars for the 2 for 1 margaritas Food is good but not 4 star. Got a table right away on a Friday night with out waiting.The place is nicely decorated it is a little loud. Waiter was very attentive food came quickly
Amazing food and amazing service!! They didn't have what we wanted on the menu, so they created it at no cost! Not to mention their purchase, you will receive a free offer on Margaritas! Very happy customer!

Excellent!! The beans are thick have a slight bacon flavor. Carne Asada tacos we're very fresh nice grilled flavor.
