I frequest this place because they have in my mind the best fried fish tacos on the peninsula. On my most recent visit I also ordered super nachos but had asked to have the chips, pico, guacamole, and creme set on the side because I live 30 min away and didn't want the chips to get soggy. The server obliged with adding an additional fee for I believe the extra containers which I was fine with. After getting home and prepping our dinner I found he forgot to put chips in the bag which totally made this visit a bad experience overall.
I can't believe this place has a 4-star rating. I ordered a soft and crispy tripe taco, as well as the super nachos. The crispy taco fell apart right away because it was so soggy, with a store-bought shell, hardly any meat, and no seasoning. And it cost $5.25 for just one taco! The soft taco was on a plain, soggy white corn tortilla with no flavor. The nachos came with stale chips and were a soggy disaster. There are plenty of other taco places to choose from, so I'll be staying away from this one in the future.
Fantastic carnitas super quesadilla. Great quality and flavor meat, delicious fillings and prepared fast at 9am on a weekday. Unfortunately the lower half of the quesadilla gets quickly soggy in the takeout container so ask them to put plenty of napkins in the bottom of the takeout box to mitigate that. Overall delicious though with friendly and smiling staff. Will definitely be back.
What a hidden gem on 25th avenue!We ordered birria tacos, shrimp burrito and an Al pastor burrito.The birria tacos were outstanding! Crispy taco, plenty of meat and amazing broth. Super reasonably priced.The burritos were also very good. Plenty of fish/meat, healthy serving of all the goodies, very filling.We will definitely be back for more.We highly recommend Los Taco Locos!

Los Tacos Locos is our favorite taqueria in San Mateo. It is a hidden gem in the San Mateo Produce Market on 25th Avenue. Their carnitas tacos are amazing, the gobernador taco is life-changing, and their unique brownish salsa is out of this world. The service is incredibly friendly and fast. We love Los Tacos Locos!
I've been coming here for over a year and let me tell you this place is legit! The food is always fresh and service is great. Many different options on the menu it truly is San mateos hidden taco Gem. Check them out in the back of the market on 25th!
The restaurant offers delicious pico de Gallo, along with friendly service and spicy hot sauce. They also have a variety of fresh Mexican ingredients available for purchase in their surrounding store, making it easy to recreate the flavors at home.
Service was lackluster at best, forgets my order of 2 bowls of rice and takes forever to get anything done. Food is great.

Didn't enjoy this food. Ordered Birria tacos. EXTREMELY oily and lacking flavor. Their flavored water was ok.
