My entire family is here visiting from out of state. Brought them to Aliso Beach and was excited to eat lunch at Lost Pier Cafe based on a very positive prior experience. Strangely, we arrived over to the cafe at 1pm and there was a long line with both widows closed. All staff were sitting over at a table, no announcement was made about what was going on. Waited for about 15 min but the line only grew and again nothing was said. Ended up having to leave the beach to go find food.
Cool spot with a great beach view—perfect for a walk after eating. We had the lobster roll and clam chowder; honestly, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was, so maybe try something else on the menu. Just loved being on a patio under a foggy late morning for brunch. Had the ClamWin Chowder fries (highly recommended) and a breakfast burrito. The burrito was filling enough without the fried, but I had to try them and wasn't disappointed. Definitely check the place out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch
This restaurant provides a lovely atmosphere, tasty dishes, and beautiful views. The prices are reasonable, and the friendliness of the staff contributes to a great overall experience. The fish taco, lobster roll, and chips with salsa were all excellent. The highlight of the experience, however, is the location. We dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $50 and $100. I highly recommend the lobster roll, chips and salsa, and shrimp tacos.
Foods is usually pretty good. I love their Croissant breakfast sando!! Delicious. My wife gets the avo toast that is good as well. Basic chicken fingers for the kids. And the Beignets are alright. They got beers ?

The view is stunning, and the food is healthy and delicious, but the portions are on the small side. The service was good, and they provide umbrellas for shade.
