Lou Castelet - Réservation de table

Ayant manqué notre endroit original pour le déjeuner, nous sommes passés par Beaumes-de-Venise et apparemment c'était le seul endroit ouvert, donc nous avons décidé d'y manger. La nourriture était terrible, la laitue et le chou dans la salade semblaient être vieux de plusieurs jours, avec beaucoup de morceaux noirs et visqueux, et les tomates avaient le goût des tomates que l'on trouve aux États-Unis, pas comme les délicieuses tomates cultivées en vigne que l'on ne peut presque pas éviter en Provence. En plus de tout cela, c'était ridiculement cher. Cela restera marqué définitivement comme à éviter à tout prix. Allez-y à jeun si nécessaire.

The restaurant we were looking forward to eating at was closed, so Lou Castelet appeared to be the only one open in Beaumes. As it turned out, we should have kept moving, hungry or not. The salad appeared to be days old, with lots of...slimy black bits of lettuce, and the tomatoes were awful...not what you expect in Provence. And the prices were really high, especially considering the quality of what we got. Better to go hungry than eat here.

Nous avons atterri en train de déjeuner ici un lundi uniquement parce que nos restaurants préférés étaient fermés. La nourriture était correcte mais le service était irrégulier. Mon mari a commandé une salade suivie d'un plat de poisson et moi-même juste une salade en plat principal. J'avais fini ma salade bien avant même que son plat principal n'arrive. Le café était bon

we had lunch with some friends in this restaurant in the center of the village. the food was good and we enjoyed the salads. the caffe gourmand is an excellent choice to finish her lunch if they like French/Italian baked crème brûlée, tiramisu. the prices were reasonable (26 € per person with a bottle of wine and some aperitifs and coffee.) Nous sommes passés pour prendre des boissons et jeter un coup d'œil à l'intérieur du restaurant. Cela semblait grand et impersonnel, rien de très spécial. Heureusement que nous avons décidé de manger ailleurs.

J'ai passé un agréable déjeuner avec une salade fraîche. Le Café Gourmand a dépassé mes attentes. Si vous allez là-bas, vous devriez vraiment terminer votre repas avec un Café Gourmand.

A quick late lunch after a hike in the hills. Just what we needed. Service was efficient. The food was good with choices for all.

bad service, after a long time the food finally came and it was really bad. don't go there. the waitress was bad.
