First impression wasn't the greatest. The place was completely devoid of customers and the staff had the chairs on top of the tables and were sweeping and wiping trays down so I thought they were closed. Red flag#1 However, the open sign was turned on and it was within the posted operating hours so I went in, time was roughly 8:30pm give or take 10 minutes. The food is halal, which is why I chose this restaurant. However, the service was disappointing. The fried chicken I ordered was not fresh. To make matters worse, I was charged extra for items that were clearly advertised as included on the menu. I definitely won't be returning. I would recommend checking out another location instead. I've always had a good experience at other Louisiana Fried Chicken locations.
Without a doubt, this is the best Louisiana Fried Chicken location. The fried chicken not only satisfies your hunger but also makes you crave more. Kudos to the owner's secret recipe! The customer service is excellent as well; the manager/owner treats you like a friend. Anyone who enjoys fast food should definitely stop by and give it a try—you won't be disappointed, I promise!
Terrible place that’s very judgmental. The Spanish girl cashier kept speaking to me in Spanish (I’m Armenian) with utter disregard that she basically sold me something that I did not order or want. Why would they pretend to be the owners of the establishment and speak Spanish in Houston Texas to customers?? I don’t speak Spanish Réservez une table maintenant
I had to wait a long time for my takeout order, even though I was the only customer in the restaurant. When I requested extra dipping sauce because I had a lot of items to dip, I was told there would be an additional charge. I had not requested ketchup or hot sauce at all.
You can't go wrong with fried chicken and catfish served with dirty rice and mashed potatoes. The flavors are spot on. It's definitely worth a visit. The service was quick, and the owner was very friendly. I will definitely return with my family!
First time: Loved. Fair prices. Decent serving size. Awesome quality. Grilled and fried options available. We got grilled fish, fish po-boy sandwich, rolls, okra, coleslaw…all delicious. Will definitely be back soon.
