Had a great Saturday lunch with my family here. Drinks were delicious, apps and entrees were great too. Hostess reassured us our 1:30 lunch reservation would be no problem with the restaurant closing at 2 to prep for dinner hours. Our server, Luis, said to not worry at all and get whatever we needed off the menu without worrying about the clock. I’ve had experiences before where we’d have to make sure we met the kitchen cutoff to order, and it can hinder the experience. Luis made sure we had a great experience. Lucca is the best place to host an event, hands down. It's a great location (across the street from Oak Brook mall) and the food and drink are first rate. Sonia and her team did a stellar job helping organize a bereavement luncheon for my family, for 30-40 guests 2-3 days before the event. Andreas led the wait staff and was compassionate, friendly and made sure no one was left wanting. It's a beautiful restaurant, easy parking and they will take care of you easily, happily and quickly. I was there on 10/04 with friends and the food, drinks and atmosphere was spot on! I had the pleasure of having the branding al for no and it was delicious. Friendly service and on top of all, the general manager and owner came to our table. You can't get any better than that. I definitely will be back! Was not impressed. Service was so slow. Our waiter was more interested in hanging out at the table next to us than she was in serving us or others. The other servers explained the menu, made suggestions and answered questions. The menu online was not the same as in the restaurant. Nothing special unfortunately. Was really hoping for something alot more.

Luis was absolutely amazing! We came for my father’s birthday and we’re met with fabulous service and great conversation with Luis!
