One word: roaches. If you’ve never seen them crawling around while sitting at your table or the bar, you will now that you’ve read this review. I emailed them a couple years ago about it, and they blamed it on an abandoned upstairs apartment and said they’re trying to get the owners to take care of it. It’s still a problem.It’s unfortunate because the atmosphere is fun, the drinks are excellent, and the food is good, too. But I can’t ignore the roach problem and the wait staff that gets defensive if you point them out.
Coming here years… the best comfort Mexican food, great service, I love love love it here. I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant on par… their mole is da bomb. The place is always busy and buzzing so obviously people come for amazing food, 40 years open and same chief from Mexico for 20 years or more so no wonder their food is consistently good. Their salsa tastes sooo fresh. Not sure where few low stars come from… but I wouldn’t take notice…
I looked online to see what hours they were open said they close at 10:00 PM showed up at 9:05 and the bartender said that they close at nine. Drove 30 minutes for dinner based on their Internet time for nothing. As far as the food is concerned it is good as you could tell by the drive time but absolutely no care given to customer service without changing the time. Would recommend calling first.
I have been eating here my whole life! You can't go wrong with the burritos although there isn't anything on this menu that I don't like! Great service, everyone is really nice, you won't regret eating here!

I’ve stopped by a few times when in Cleveland not only is the food delicious, the people that own/work there are so pleasant. Never had to ask for a refill of chips and salsa or drinks!10/10!
Best FOOD EVER. Their enchiladas I will wake up randomly craving all. The. Time. It's delicious, go you won't be disappointed
Delicious food, great service and unique setting. Guessing this is a local favorite. Would definitely visit again!!
they have great food with great service and great portions. their margaritas are pretty bad*ds as well!

Every entree I've tried there has been delicious! And the servers are always very attentive.
Was excellent. The salad dressing had a quite a kick!!! Will definitely go back.
