We stayed in the Flushing area for close to a week, and in addition to all of the great Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants we periodically went to Lucia Pizza. The place was always busy, with people dropping in for a slice or two, orpicking up whole pizzas. We would typically order a whole pizza and wait for it to be made, so we were able to observe the wholeprocess of making and cooking a pie. There were never any measuring devices or timers used; this is all about skill andknowledge, and it was amazing to see the care that went into ensuring every single pie was perfect. I've been coming to this pizzeria for more than 30 years. That's how good they are. The taste of their pizza never changes. I believe they make the best pizza in all of the pizzerias in QUEENS. Alway reminds me of growing in Brooklyn the pizza that we used to get after going to church. Brooklyn used to have good pizzerias back in the old days. When pizza was only 50 cents.
I'm disabled and the delivery man ignored my orders to bring the food downstairs so it took me 15 minutes to get up the stairs. They came 20 minutes late, they forgot my beef patty but remembered to charge me for it and gave me an eggplant hero burntbeyond recognition. I will never order from here again and i recommend you do the same.
29 years ago , i used to come here as a child with my dad and would always stop and get a slice ... i went back this summer and had a slice, that literally took me back in time! While my dad wasn't with me, may he RIP ... i felt his presence with me and it was nostalgic.. I cant wait to come back to NY and visit this place ... <3
You can’t compare Lucia’s pizza to any other pizzeria it’s truly one of kind location that offers High quality food and service for a reasonable price . Last picture is a comparison between Lucia’s slice and another local pizzeria and I must say Lucia’s slice can’t get beat .
