This hidden gem is a great find! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Our go-to dish is always the cod and chips, which are incredibly fresh and delicious. The friendly lady serving always remembers our names, and her husband cooks the food perfectly. They even offer the convenience of calling in your order for quick pick-up. Just be aware that they only accept cash. Luckily, there is an ATM just a few doors down. Overall, we give this place top marks for food quality, service, and atmosphere.
Hands down, the best fish and chips I've ever had. My go-to spot is the Lucky Fish Bar, where the food has never disappointed. The portion sizes are generous, especially for the fish and chips. Their curry sauce and mushy peas are also delicious. They even offer a vegetarian option, although I haven't tried it yet. Their fish cakes are a must-try as well. I usually call ahead for takeout, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Thank you for everything!

Bought haddock and chips and a sausage in batter. My mum had a saveloy and chips. The lovely lady gave us a free jumbo sausage too as it was closing time.
