What an unexpected surprise. I am likely the only person who hasn't heard of this place, but I was so impressed. When I saw the tiny and unassuming front entrance, I didn't know what to expect. However, the food was exceptional. I had the Caesar Salad, which was one of the better ones I've tried lately. For the main, I had the pepper and cognac New York, which was delicious and nearly a perfect medium rare. I am not sure what we ate for dessert as someone else in the party ordered it. But, I believe it was a brownie with ice cream. And while this is a fairly basic desert, I can't begin to describe how amazing it tasted. Overall, this was a great experience. We have been coming to Lucky’s since they opened their doors and it is our “go to” restaurant for special occasions or whenever we can. The Santa Barbara Lucky’s has the best food in California. Lucky’s salad, steaks, abalone, chicken piccata, onion rings, chicken pot pie are the best!!

The abalone is always a delicious choice. The French Onion soup is a classic. Best “lemon drop” cocktail in the country so far.
