We first had to wait and wait at the door for someone to bother to come over to seat us. The lady sitting at the table who was probably on her break (a more appropriate place would be a break room you just looked rude ignoring us) having nothing to do with that so we waited and waited until someone finally came over. Rudely rushed us over sat us and then we waited and waited for our drink order... not sure how long it takes to get 2 ice waters. Then we waited and waited for them to take our food order. Food came wish I had been able to wait longer since it was so bad! Let's just say I liked the mashed potatoes. .... that was it. Then we waited and waited for our bill. I wasn't in a rush but...
Food was good but the server was very rude. He yelled across the dinning room saying thanks for the 2.10 tip. I unfortunately read the bill wrong because i didn't have my glasses. He made me look cheap in front of all the customers. A tip is not required. A tip should be appreciated. I don't think i can return and be waited on by him. I have been going to this restaurant for 26 years.
This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast or even breakfast for dinner! While prices have increased in recent years, it is still a worthwhile place to eat. The entrees can be a bit pricey, so I usually opt for the breakfast platters. It is a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, typical of a diner.
