As the cafe was so busy, it took some time for someone to take our order. Many dishes were ordered but my BIL & I had their corn stack with poached eggs, bacon, avo & homemade tomato relish served on sourdough toast which was pretty generous in size and tasty. Grande ambiance, bonne nourriture et service fantastique. Avait un petit déjeuner génial à Lumière le week-end et sera certainement de retour quand Sydney. La seule chose qui se distingue le plus était le service, tout le monde était si heureux et sympathique. Great vibe, great food and fantastic service. Had an awesome breakfast at lumiere on the weekend and will definitely be back when next in Sydney. The one thing that stood out the most was the service, everyone was so happy and friendly. I had the special breakfast which was hummus and pumpkin on toast with poached eggs and dukkah. Loved it! So tasty and light, great for my hangover :) my friend had the Gruyere, bacon and pumpkin on toast and that was also very tasty and very generous with the bacon. I only have one small complaint, I had the green and lean fresh juice and all I could taste was celery, none of the other ingredients.

Lumière existe depuis des années et survivait de nombreux cafés et entreprises dans le complexe de Saint-Margaret en difficulté. Une bizarrerie du marché de Sydney. L'endroit ne m'a jamais vraiment fait appel à moi parce que cela fait partie d'un autre café générique, mais j'ai profité des gâteaux chauds. Excellent emplacement et un grand menu avec beaucoup d'options. Première fois ici pour le petit déjeuner. Ordonné mon habituel d'œufs brouillés et de bacon. Les œufs sont bien faits et bien cuits parfaitement. Le pain était magnifique. Mes amis ont opté pour une variété de plats; ce qui était génial. Le café était bon mais pas wow. Seul inconvénient est le service qui était tout à fait incompatible. Devait aller prendre nos propres menus, demander à être servi et demander de l'eau.
Great location and a great menu with lots of options. First time here for breakfast. Ordered my usual of scrambled eggs and bacon. Eggs done beautifully and bacon cooked perfectly. Bread was beautiful. My friends opted for a variety of dishes; all of which were great. Coffee was good but not wow. Only downside is the service which was quite inconsistent. Had to go and grab our own menus, ask to be served and ask for water.
Lumiere has been around for years and outlasted numerous cafes and businesses in the struggling St Margaret's complex. A quirk of the Sydney market. The place has never really appealed to me because it comes across as just another generic cafe, however I did enjoy the hot cakes. Prices are hefty with many dishes around $20. Food was good, service was very friendly, coffee was okay. Nice outdoor area with shade.

Étonnante! Découvert par procuration parce que je me suis dirigé vers un lieu à proximité. Mais c'est un joyau caché. La Signature Toastie Stack et Toast français avec la banane et le bacon étaient un début incroyable à la journée!
Amazing! Discovered by proxy because I walked to a venue nearby. But this is a hidden gem. The signature toastie stack and French toast with banana and bacon were an amazing start to the day!
