Went to the Lux Diner today for lunch. It wasn't busy at all, maybe we just missed the lunch crowd. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Restroom was very clean. We ordered a Greek wrap and a Buffalo Chicken wrap. Both were delicious. The fries are wedge fries that are lightly seasoned. These kind of fries are usually dry but these were very good. Coleslaw was ok, the dressing wasn't very strong, so it only had a hint of the taste. Portions were a good size and prices were average.Service was very good. Our waitress was pleasant and informative. Came around often for offer of refills for coffee and pop. Overall a pleasant experience. Would go back again.
Tried this restuarant for first time for lunch. Establishment was clean and tidy. Had the clubhouse and kind of disappointed...instead of triple decker, it came like a sandwich, with coleslaw on the side which was kind of dry. My friend had a breakfast special with pop. Disappointed with wait staff, didn't even offer a refill for $2.49 a glass!! Overall food was just ok, service somewhat lacking and pricy for what you get. Next time we will try Michigan Diner.
My boyfriend and I went to go eat here after one of our exams and saw online that it said they were open until 4pm. We arrived there at 3:30pm and as soon as we opened the door one of the servers told us that we could not come in because they were closed. I guess when it is 3:30 and your door says open until 4pm and you have your open sign on then that means you are closed? We usually love this place but now we won't be going back.
