I recently visited Lyon Street Cafe over the Christmas break, and it exceeded my expectations! The cafe boasts a charming and cozy ambiance, complemented by ample seating and beautiful natural lighting from the big window. My go-to mocha was a delightful treat – hot, chocolaty, and utterly delicious. The friendly barista added to the positive experience. What sets Lyon Street Cafe apart is the unique outdoor huts available for free hourly rentals. Purchasing any item from the cafe grants you access to these cozy huts, each equipped with its own heater. Hanging out with my friends in one of these adorable huts was an absolute joy!I highly recommend Lyon Street Cafe for its warm atmosphere, gre...

I have been to this place a few times in the past, probably eight years ago and earlier. I loved their sweets then. I decided to visit again today with a friend. I showed her the main picture of the cafe on Google maps to lure her with me. We were quite disappointed when we got to the place. The picture was nowhere close to what they offered now. It would not have mattered if they had those desserts anyways. There was no seating available inside since most tables were 4-person tables occupied by one person each. It looks as if they don't seem to want more customers. They can accommodate more people by converting some of their large tables to one or two-person tables.

This is my favorite coffee place in GR and has been for a decade. Even though I moved out of GR, I still go out of my way to grab a pour over here and stop at Martha's Vineyard or the bakery. The staff here are always kind and pleasant and they make the best coffee in town. The olive oil cake is also amazing. Can't speak highly enough of this place and the folks who run it!

Here's review 500, you guys deserve it! Out of all the coffee shops in Grand Rapids, this is our favorite (hot take, deal with it madcap) the iced miel is so good. Grab that book you've been meaning to start and sit for a while at Lyon st Cafe. Everyone is friendly the workers and customers too. Réservez une table maintenant

Cute spot. Seemed very busy in there. I ordered a hot vanilla latte with oatmilk which was 7$ they charge extra for oat milk and vanilla they make their vanilla in house and a cappuccino total was 11.50$. They tasted good. Also be sure to definitely check out Nantucket bread company next door

One of the top coffee shops in Grand Rapids! Their olive oil cake is simply delicious, and I also highly recommend stopping by the nearby bakery for a croissant and enjoying it with a café miel here. It tends to get quite busy, so it's a good idea to arrive early to secure a spot!

The website boast “a range of options for our gluten-free and vegan friends.” There were zero GF options. Super disappointing, considering I came here specifically because of this misleading information. Dietary restrictions: No Gluten-Free options.

Went there for first time this morning and I ordered a cup of coffee with vanilla and cream. It was the absolute worst cup of coffee I've ever had. The barista was wonderful and the cafe was cute, but this is bottom of the barrel coffee. Réservez une table maintenant

Tried for first time. Authentically good coffee. Tried the cortado. And the cinnamon coffee cake muffin. Really good. Decent and calm music to add to the atmosphere. Parking available on the side of the building and on the street.
