Hands down the best restaurant in metro Detroit! That is saying a lot because there are so many downtown that we love but Mabel Gray is a rare gem! Our server, Max, is outstanding!!!! He always remembers us even if it’s been a while since we’ve eaten there. The service here is outstanding and the food is fresh, seasonal, creative and ridiculously delicious! Their cocktails are exceptional always on point. Music is always a great mix the whole place has a very cool vibe!
The meal was very well curated. Out of the 8 courses for the tasting menu I enjoyed all of them except for 3. It doesn't seem like a lot of food but by the end of the night you are full. My wife had the drink pairing, and she enjoyed how each drink matched the food course very well. Overall the meal was good, but on the pricey side.
We waited a LONG time to get a reservation here. We did not know if it would lice up to the hype , since we had heard great things. It definitely lived up to the hype. We splurged and did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and we loved everything we tried. It was perfect. Definitely a treat for a special occasion!
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely incredible and the service was some of the best I’ve had. Brock was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. He thoroughly explained every dish we ordered. Can’t wait to go back! Réservez une table maintenant
This is the 3rd time I’ve done the tasting menu and it was excellent as always. The oysters were incredible and I’m pretty sure we’ll be talking about the waygu beef for the rest of our lives.
