We had a party of eleven people, five of which were children. We all had a great experience and especially the children! They tried everything, the Steak Tartare, The Escargot, French Onion Soup. The steaks were prepared perfectly to order and just delicious, so tender and buttery, but that was a given. Service was outstanding considering we had so many children who required a bit of special attention. One of the boys ordered a cheeseburger and French fries even though it wasn't on the menu and he says that it was really good. We also went upstairs for dessert and again, a wonderful experience. In summary, we all had a great time!
From beginning to end, we received excellent service. Our waiter provided a great overview of the best dishes to try. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had both steak and lamb chops, and each was absolutely delicious. The side dishes were enormous, and we definitely over-ordered. I couldn't finish my meal, which is quite rare for me. My personal favorite was the onion rings, closely followed by the German fried potatoes. While this restaurant isn't the cheapest, it offers a unique experience. Be sure to make your reservation early, as it fills up quickly!
We visited shortly after Valentine's day as we were passing through on our way back to Indiana. After a long day of traveling and fast food we decided to treat ourselves to a decent meal. I must say, our meals were more than decent they were excellent. The steak is one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was cooked just how I like it, hot pink in the middle. The service that we received from Macelleria Italian Steakhouse was spot on. She was friendly, attentive and knew the menu forwards and backwards. I highly recommend for him and his company.
We visited Macelleria Italian Steakhouse in Sun Prairie on a Friday night during the Holidays. The food was Great! Delicious! We all had different things from Steak to Seafood, everything was well cooked just as we asked and everything tasted great! We had the Tour of Italy appetizer which was wonderful, highly recommend it! The service was spot on we didn't feel rushed as we were visiting with friends, but we didn't get over hungry waiting for out meals! I would go there again, there is so much on the menu I want to try!

Amazing!Made reservations about 2 months ago. A friend told me to take a tour of the kitchen wine cellar. It was amazing how every item on the menu had its own work area. Everything is prepared when it’s ordered, not before. The restaurant makes everything even salad dressings, soup, sides. Their steak was very good. I’ve had better at Peter Luger.The desert room should not be missed. All the deserts are home made. Nothing compromised. This was an amazing experience. If I ever go back to the , Berns will be my first stop.
Best value authentic Italian place in town. There pizza ? is exceptionally good. Other items on the menu is really good as well. And compare to other authentic Italian places and the quality of food thier serving i would say their pricing is very very reasonable. Worth more than every penny. Ambiance and hospitality topnotch as well. Can't go wrong if you are craving authentic Italian food.
The octopus appetizer was delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak, but it resembled and tasted more like a NY strip steak that had been drenched in oil. The cavatelli was decent. On a positive note, our server Anthony was very attentive and friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, though not one that stands out.
Four of us had dinner for my birthday. All meals were great. Two steak and two pasta dinners. Steaks were cooked just right and pasta was not over cooked. Service was very good. A shout out to Trent our server for taking care of us. Free birthday desert was a plus. Will go back again for sure.

HIDDEN GEM. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the service was flawless. The atmosphere was truly delightful.
