In Wood county Texas and looking for a great little hole-in-the-wall barbecue place? Well this is it! Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. And if you're looking for a great deal for a Friday special, you can't go wrong with the one half pound brisket burger and fries. But that's okay if you're more of a traditionalist and looking for the typical BBQ sides, cuz the fried okra and green beans are great and the potato salad has just the right tang.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The price per person was between $1 and $10, which was very affordable. The food was delicious, receiving a rating of 5 from me. The service, however, was a bit lacking and only received a 3. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also rated a 3. I highly recommend trying the Sausage Plate with Okra and Coleslaw, as well as the BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich.

Chopped beef sandwich and a couple ribs for lunch today. Been driving by here for years but never stopped until today. The ribs are amazing smoked perfect, the chopped beef was very good moist and lean. The BBQ sauce is good not too spicy right amount of tang. The potato salad was just ok. Overall I would recommend. I am from Pennsylvania and I must say, this restaurant serves some of the best BBQ I have ever had! The service was excellent and I enjoyed a delicious dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks. I highly recommend trying the Chopped Beef Sandwich.
