You absolutely have to try the homemade sauces for the biscuits and bread pudding, so I recommend dining in. The blackened catfish was expertly seasoned, and the vegetables were fresh. The cheese grits were incredibly cheesy—perhaps the best I've had in quite some time.
The shrimp Po' Boy sandwich was outstanding; the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection, ensuring they stayed inside the sandwich. For dessert, the apple cobbler à la mode was delightful. The prices were quite reasonable, especially in light of the pandemic, and the portion sizes were generous. I will definitely be coming back!
The place makes you feel comfortable. It is clean, the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The waiter we had was John and he was so nice. We answered all the questions. I'm a simple Jane, so I just had a burger, but my Nabeby loves all the crazy food, so we went for him to cook the cancer. He said it was the best at all. Another member of the staff came to empty his bowls and he was also very nice. And don't let me start on the woman behind the counter. Everyone was so friendly and we loved the place. Just been there twice. Once we were taken out and once we dived. Will be back soon!
Omg if you're a fried chicken lover or a souther girl at heart like I am, this place is a dream come true! I had the chicken n waffles w biscuit and sweet mash and hubby got the pulled pork and chicken wings. Every bite is beyond delicious! Tool a coconut custard bread pudding to go, I'm sure it will be amazing ingredients also. Service was fantastic also, the chef came out to explain one of the dishes himself when he heard me asking questions. My new fave fave place. Highly reccomnend!
The food is simply amazing. Doesnt look like much from the outside, but when you step into this comfy establishment you will not be disappointed. Everything taste fresh and cooked with love. I deff recommend this to anyone looking for southern Louisiana cooking. The desserts are simply Out of Bounds you have to try it

I've visited this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints! The Bourbon rib tips are amazing, and you can't beat their fresh fried chicken. Make sure to save room for the homemade dessert or consider taking it to go; just don't leave without trying it!
I tried the seafood gumbo and the jambalaya, and both dishes were packed with generous pieces of meat and had great seasoning. I like to add Tabasco Chipotle to my gumbo for an extra kick. The cornbread was also outstanding.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious and consistently satisfies. The service is outstanding; they truly exceed all expectations. I highly recommend it—you won’t regret it!
This place is a complete hole in the wall (not a bad thing). Staff was really nice and the food was good. I thought it was too expensive and not sure I would return.
