This place is a gem!! And an inspiring one at that! Between Lester Raw's incredible live performances and the brilliantly curated artworks by Anita Beshirs, this place has it all. Oh, and the bartenders are classy, intelligent mixologists to say the least. Do yourself a favor and experience old San Francisco NOW
One of the greatest bars of all time—period. Consistent long-standing music theme nights, high-quality art exhibits and installations, great neighborhood atmosphere, friendly staff from the front door to the bar and back, and some of the best DJs in SF . Pick a night—you can’t go wrong at Madrone.
Go on Sundays for open mic, then for MoTown Mondays, or monthly karaoke! This is my go-to spot for quality events, local music, and enjoyable atmosphere. I love the staff and the drinks are quite tasty. Great place to bring friends!
I felt like I was taken advantage of during my visit. I was overcharged for drinks and there was an unexpected cover charge that wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website. On the positive side, the art on the walls was nice. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice venue for live music. Fun lighting inside and tvs with random stuff on it. Loved the outdoor seating for drinking and smoking Plenty of food options close by.
Small bar smells like b.o. cover way to high for worlds most BORING dj. Definitely caters to the older crowd so if ur not 50 don’t go here
Went to see a friend, Marcus Rivers, play. Nice atmosphere. Decent dri ks. Friendly clientele and staff.
