This local gem has undergone a renovation. It 's lost a bit of its 'European ' character, but now has a clean, modern vibe. Music was a bit loud on our arrival, but was turned down on request without fuss. Service was terrific and schnitzels were up to the usual excellent standard also the huge servings have been retained. Unfortunately not BYO anymore, but beverage prices were reasonable. Still a great reasonably priced night out for a group.
Back after many years away. Place has lost a lot of its previous Bavarian ambiance. Now just a small stock standard restaurant which apparently does take away now as well. Sad but move with the times. Food however was still the same, brilliant quality and huge serves. Made up for it. In all a pleasant evening.
Maggies continues to deliver good food. The Schnitzel tonight was tasty and a generous portion and the starter croquettes were great. The service is delivered gently with kindness and efficiency. We are already booked to go back. It is now our “Go to” place on Hayes theatre excursions.

The food was fresh, plentiful, and tasty, just as I had hoped for a traditional German dining experience. I look forward to trying the bratwurst next time. The staff was friendly and attentive.
I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant and have visited a few similar places in the area that serve delicious food to a large number of people.
I always come here before seeing a show at the Hayes Theatre. It is consistently good, and get out in time, without feeling rushed
