The restaurant features a clean and beautiful ambiance, with polite and attentive waitstaff. However, there were several downsides. The food was bland and seemed carelessly prepared. I've had better meals at similar casual dining spots, which left me feeling quite disappointed given the price. The brisket nachos came with barely an ounce of meat and appeared to be quickly thrown together. We also shared a sandwich that looked unappealing, and my child even refused to eat the French fries. I was taken aback, especially since I remember enjoying my meal at the Little Falls location a few years ago. It didn't seem like they were overwhelmed with customers, which might have explained the lacklus...
Kind of a weird experience food wise but the staff was great, attentive and friendly. Came here after work for some drinks and apps with friends. I ordered the Peach Blossom Mojito and it was really good! It was a small drink for $10 so I didn't order more then one. I got the Mozzarella Sticks. The breading was tasty but just different. I don't know how to explain but the cheese was a different texture and not what a typical mozz cheese tastes like. My one friend ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. They use cheddar cheese on the top which I feel like doesn't match the flavors of this dish. I didn't enjoy it and I wouldn't order it again. I would like to go back once indoor restaurant seat...
This place is fantastic in every way. The food is delicious, the ambiance is inviting, and the noise level is comparable to many bustling bars and restaurants. There are plenty of TVs and seating available. I highly recommend it for both dining in and takeout. Their beer prices are quite reasonable as well. I tried the penne pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken, and it was superb. I returned a second time and had a burger, which was equally tasty. If I ever find myself back in New Jersey, I will definitely stop by again. Thank you to the staff at Maggie's for providing excellent service to this Dallas Cowboys fan!
We visited the restaurant with a group for lunch, and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly as well. However, it's important to note that the service was quite slow, and they struggled to manage larger groups effectively. The organization was chaotic, and we ended up with multiple bills for each family, which was a hassle to sort out. Paying those separate checks was frustratingly slow and poorly handled. I had the Pastrami Ruben sandwich, and while it was incredibly flavorful, it was also quite messy to eat. The bread could have been better; it should have been toasted or grilled to add some crispiness. Unfortunately, the filling was too soggy, making the sandwich difficult to handle. On a positive note, the service was excellent. There was a young man with tattoos on his arm—I'm sorry, my memory isn't great, but I think his name might have been Brian. He did a fantastic job. The ambiance was nice, as I was just enjoying lunch with three friends.
The food was excellent, and the waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating! After being seated, we spotted our friends at another table and wanted to move to join them. The staff was very accommodating, even though they had already placed their order and had a different server. I highly recommend the chimichurri steak sandwich! I only managed to eat half, along with my side salad, and I'm excited to enjoy the rest for lunch tomorrow. My friends ordered from the bar and mentioned that their food was of very high quality as well.
Our family visits this restaurant regularly, and we went there twice last week alone. We always enjoy our meals and receive excellent service every time. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options. Be sure to try the amazing broccoli bites! The appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and main courses are all fantastic, and even the pizza is delicious! The wait times can be lengthy, so it's a good idea to plan ahead, but it's definitely worth the wait.
Maggie 's makes great burgers!! We got their bbq bacon cheddar burger and the sweet savory and both were fantastic! Well cooked and well sized. This slightly upscale tavern is a great place to get the full collection of classic pub foods and drinks. Their maple spice old fashioned was particularly smooth and delicious. This place wasn’t the best but it wasn’t horrible. Service was good and pretty fast. The eggs rolls were bomb af. The tacos needed more loving lol. The wings were cooked great but it wasn’t the flavor we originally ordered and the dessert tasted old. It was heartbreaking lol might give it another chance.
