I 've been going to the Magic for decades, since the days when the decor was an Arabian Nights fantasy. The sites change, is renewed but the Magic Magic has clearly suffered a step backwards. I understand that making money and maximising profits is the most important in a leisure business but not at the expense of customer welfare. The issue of the reserved areas started slowly and now almost 75% of the premises are delimited by private areas where the supposedly VIP clients look down on the rest of the customers as if they were proud of not having to mingle with them. In the few free areas that are still not cordoned off, the 'normal ' customers wander from one side of the venue to the othe...
Rudest staff ever, genuinely never came across such ignorant staff in a place like this before. Drinks are extremely overpriced. The staff also lie and tell you that there is only the extremely expensive spirits when ordering, but when you go up to the bar there is much cheaper options. We paid nearly 30 euro for 2 single vodka with lemonade. 15 euro for a single vodka lemonade, ridiculous especially when there are much cheaper and better bars around Tenerife. It also had ZERO atmosphere. DJ was playing songs that no one really liked and due to every member of staff looking like they'd just been told the world was ending (or had a face like a skelped backside as the saying goes), it just set...
Unfortunately we overpaid for drinks, the drinks definitely could have been cheaper considering there was no one in the place! The DJ did not take suggestions which made the place even worse. We left after 10 minutes. We came back to the bar hoping it would be better and more lively approx 1am to be met with the horror that it is even worse. The DJ does not take suggestions at all; just a suggestions all together. He just lets his dance floor be empty. Both times we came here there is 0 people dancing. Do not recommend.
