We brought our four-year-old son along, unsure if he would enjoy the food. He ended up loving the roti, and then one of the managers checked on us and kindly offered to make him some French fries. It hadn’t even occurred to us to ask for fries at an Indian restaurant, but they went out of their way to prepare a special plate, which he devoured happily. The dessert was fantastic too; I can’t recall its name, but it featured condensed milk on small pastries with a scoop of ice cream in the middle.
My go-to drink there is the jalapeño margarita, which is the best drink I’ve ever ordered anywhere. What I appreciate most about Mahal is that even though it was busy last night, we had exceptional...
The service was good, and the food was ok.Too high-priced all items .Around $6 for garlic Naan and all vegetables are $22 to $24.Way too much .The server told me all entries come with rice, and the manager refused told me that he is a new employee .So you don't train your employees.The restroom is upstairs and will never go again.Small parking space.
Had dinner at mahal,great ambiance, amazing food and Parminder is an wonderful host.Halibut geruan chicken was delicious, malai naan was a nice compliment to go with it..Kudos to chef sanjay and his team..Will definitely recommend and be back soon....Good to see this elegant restaurant on the island....
I had an amazing experience dining here. The atmosphere is exceptionally sophisticated, reminiscent of fine Indian restaurants in the city. It's a level of quality that’s hard to find in Long Island. Mahal offers a luxurious blend of experience, flavor, and service all in one place! Highly recommended!

I ordered three dishes for delivery, which came to around $100 (that's not an issue for me). However, there was no rice included. There was no indication that the three dinner entrees would come without rice. It seems like the restaurant cut corners to save 50 cents. Overall, I didn't enjoy my meal.
We had my dad’s 70th birthday here in the event space upstairs. It was very well done- the staff were extremely courteous, the food was great and there was enough space for our group of about 60. I would highly recommend and would love to go back.
Tired of ordering take out and NOT Getting the complete dish.Every time they leave out part of the dish. Rice dish with no rainsins and nuts that it should have. That's why I ordered the dish. I got half the desert another time. FED UP!!
Food is amazing! Loved everything! Chicken skewers, duck appetizers. Also loved the halibut. So many choices of naan and great vegetarian options. Service was a little slow but they were very busy.
