I cannot say enough good things about this location so bear with me while we go through the list! People and service is the best I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying in a long time. They are so kind, patient and more than willing to explain the menu items. (This was my first time ordering Indian food so I did ask questions! I ordered inside and sat in the car with my baby expecting to run in to get the food after 15-20 minutes. It was done before 15 minutes and they brought it out to me! It smells amazing inside with a great atmosphere and very clean. I love that they have to go menus by the door and that they ask which spice level you’d like. The taste of the food is absolutely worth the price...
Update: Sept. 20, 2022 Dinner was just okay. Seems like they use frozen veggies, not fresh ones. Asked the waitress to clear our dishes. She said in a moment and then never came back. Used to have great service here. We won 't be back. I have triedall the Indian buffets in Madison and eaten at Indian buffet lunches all over the East Coast. This is by far my favorite. Thefood is excellently seasoned, good variety, lots of veggies, a range of chutneys, soups and desserts, and excellent wait staff.I 've frequented this restaurant for 8 years. I love it. Here 's today 's lunch (see photo). Try it!
I had a delicious lunch buffet with a wide variety of options. The food was fresh and hot. The restaurant was busy but we were still able to find seating. The desserts were not overly sweet and the fish was particularly good. The goat curry had nice flavor but was a bit tough. I enjoyed the spinach, pickles, and black lentil dal. The Darjeeling tea started out good but turned bitter. The naan was amazing and the chicken was moist and tasty. The service was also attentive. I will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely delicious! This is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant on the east side. I highly recommend the lamb curry, mango chicken, tandoori mixed grill, and baingan bhartha. The staff is friendly, and the takeout is quick; I can't recommend them enough! We've never ordered anything that we didn't love. Just a heads-up: the medium spice level isn't overwhelming, but most people would find it fairly spicy.

After we got home, we really relished our meal. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, Vegetable Mix Curry, and the Chef's Choice Naan Bread. Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced to my taste. The vegetable mix was a bit too spicy for my wife, but overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu. on our trips to dinner. it was so good. I had the Tandoori chicken with medium seasoning. the servings were so much larger than expected. Masala tea with seasoning was delicious. the staff was very friendly. loved every minute of it.
I ordered masala tea, and it was more like milk than anything else. There was hardly any actual tea in it, and it didn't taste like tea at all. I'm really disappointed—how can you mess up something as simple as chai?
Everything was fantastic! They even surprised us with a complimentary sample of mango ice cream after our meal. I'll definitely return! However, I found lunch to be a bit on the pricey side.

The lunch buffet did not meet our expectations. While the appetizers and desserts were good, the main courses were undercooked and had a different flavor than expected.
I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, and the staff is extremely friendly. They even offer small cups of kulfi with every entree ordered.
